After 3 stabs at this one (it is a tough, dark, object), I finally have about the limit of what my HyperStar and my patience can produce from my backyard, and with my local seeing conditions in the orange-yellow zone located just NE of the city of Tucson, AZ.
Two hours of unguided CFA exposures, each 3 min long.

New data - last night, with my autoguider and differential flexure compensation, I grabbed 19 reasonably high quality images at 300s each. Then apply new found knowledge about mitigating field stars, and voila!

Rev F: Experiments with early stage noise reduction in the wavelet layers, along with field star moderation. Results are much less harsh at the smallest scales.
