Description

Since this comet has been primarily a morning object, I decided to try photographing it from my backyard. There are hints of dust and ion tails but they are not very visible because of the very high light pollution in our area. In addition, by 4:30 AM there was considerable skyglow from the soon-to-be-rising sun.

To make things worse, my mount has not been very stable in guiding. Each exposure was 120 seconds long.
