Description

I used a "double tube" setup to collect Halfa and color at the same time during a two-nights weekend on the Appennini (1300 m a.s.l., average SQM 21,3, Bortle 3). This is what I was able to do. Sbig 11000 w/ H-alfa on the ODK 12", Canon 450 Baader on the APO 130. 31x600s frames for H-alfa, 44x600s frames for color. Obviously the three images are H-alfa only, color only, and composite. You can see the setup I used here.
If you are curious, it takes about 2:20h-2:30h from "car engine stop" when I park to the first useful frame. "D" version was created by with Photoshop, while "E" Version was made by Edoardo Radice using PixInsight.

Dato che me lo chiedono spesso...ci vogliono 2:20h-2:30h da quando spengo l'auto all'arrivo a quando apro il primo otturatore "utile". ^_^
