A faint, faint, faint... wait, REALLY faint nebula!

**** ENG - PK 124+10.1 is a really faint planetary nebula (or SNR, I'm not sure) in Cassiopea. Night-long exposure in H-alfa for my friend Piero Mazza, who observed this nebula with his 60cm Dobson and asked for a photo. Since this nebula is visible with a big scope, I think it has a significant OIII component. Image heavly cropped and collected in binning 2. SQM around 20,1, Bortle 5. Will try the OIII component another day.

**** ITA - PK 124+10.1 è una debolissima planetaria (o un residuo di supernova, ho trovato fonti contrastanti) in Cassiopea. Esposizione "tutta notte" per l'amico Piero Mazza, che l'ha osservata col suo 60 e voleva una foto. In realtà la voleva a colori, ma vista la debolezza ho cominciato con l'Halfa. Dato che la nebulosa è accessibile visualmente, immagino abbia una forte componente OIII, o non vedo come sia possibile °_° Immagine ripresa sotto un cielo mediocre (SQM circa 20,1, Bortle 5). Immagine croppata pesantemente, ripresa in binning 2.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
