Description

Repeated this image since the prior version was actually Sh2 7 not 27.  @Steve Sells noticed this.  I think I entered 7 not 27 in ACP Expert Scheduler.  Luckily it was still just on my horizon and raising my Pier I managed to get just enough frames last night to correct the issue.  I put the 27 image into 07, where it belongs.  07 is about 10 DEG lower on the horizon. 

There are some interesting images of this on Astrobin, but you really need a wide angle to do it right.  Too bad my Tak image was bogus.

This is an extended HII region around the nearby O9 V star Zeta Ophiuchi. The spectacular bow shock caused by this star as it ploughs through dense dust clouds near the Sco OB2 association can be seen in this infra-red image from the Milky Way Explorer.
