Description

Finally getting around to posting more of last month's planetary captures. I was glad to get a good night to catch Mars with an angular diameter of 18.39" , shining very brightly at magnitude: -1.88 . Even visually at the eyepiece, Mars looked very impressive and it was quite easy to pick out surface details!

L: Gain=21, Exp=11.7ms, 900 frames (best 30% of 3000), 84 FPS average

R: Gain=34, Exp=11.7ms, 900 frames (best 30% of 3000), 85 FPS average

G: Gain=38, Exp=11.7ms, 900 frames (best 30% of 3000), 85 FPS average

B: Gain=68, Exp=9.7ms, 900 frames (best 30% of 3000), 93 FPS average

Roughly 36 alignment points were used for each channel in AS2! (used auto AP generation). When blending in the luminance via PS, I set the blend% to be about 70%.

Thanks for looking!
