Description

This was the second of the two (7331) test images working with the spacing of the CCDT67. They are both heavily cropped, and the corners of this one still arent very good. I've since went to less spacing (and thus less compression) and it seems to be better, but still not perfect. Stars, even off-axis stars, look so good at f/8 using the TSFlat2, that I may never be happy with the Telecompressor. :/ I've ordered the Riccardi 0.75X reducer/flattener and will likely work with that some around full moon. Its always clear around full moon, right?!!

Anyway, with the processing of this image, I wanted to accentuate the OIII channel. The OIII always looks very nice on this target, and was much sharper than the Ha and SII. I ended up doing my standard hubble palette process with one version, then using pixel math, I put together a very OIII heavy version. It looked ok, but I wasnt quite happy with it, so ended up blending the two versions together to end up with this.

The custom palette version was this....

R: 0.6*SII + 0.4*OIII

G: 0.6*Ha + 0.4*OIII

B: OIII
