Description

On 20 August, as I finished collecting H-a data on M 27 on a nearly full-moon night, I swung past the moon and thought, Why not? Seeing was moderately good, but it seemed possible that the narrowband red wavelength passed by the H-a filter might be less vulnerable to atmospheric turbulence than other wavelengths. In this single 0.07-second exposure, it evidently didn't hurt.
