Description

Here we have a look at the familiar gulf region of the North America Nebula.

This is first light for the OS RH 200 - this testing data allowed me to refine the set up so that i am now happy with it. I love both the speed of the scope with 600 seconds being sufficient for this target (though will likely go to 900 sec for dimmer targets under UK skies) and the extra detail the 8" aperture provides at this FoV (albeit with some central obstruction).

I was pleased to see some of the tiniest bok globules resolving in the south area of the central belt as well. All in all was pleased with the outcome from this test and have enjoyed getting back to some of my own data acquisition, well to a degree . Thanks for looking - Paddy

Rev B - Slightly tamer/more natural version (subject to your viewpoint ).

Rev C - And one in the middle - think this is my final preferred version.
