So, to use a mono CCD in the field is quite hard and everybody told me "use a DSLR, it is much easier". So I gave the Canon 600Da a try. It is disturbing to see the same problems with the newer DSLRs like in 2010 with my old Canon 40D. It is nearly not possible to get matching darks, so darks creating tiny black holes in the image. The noise is still terrible and the image processing a pain.I do not understand how anyone get a decent image from a DSLR...
