Description

First light for the new Tamron SP 85mm, with fullframe Eos6da at Iso800 and 2min subframes.

Working here at f/2.8 it delivers pinpoint stars from edge to edge.

At f/2 it is still good, just a tick softer. A fantastic lens. See deep test here:

This pic was processed to feature dust and the huge emission nebula Sh2-126.

It is very unusual in this wide field context. At upper left you find the cocoon nebula,

to the far right tiny deer lick NGC7331, with microscopic Stephans Quintet,

and on bottom right huge and weak NGC7640.
