Description

Taken over a two year period on 34 nights. 6 filters used: R, G, B, NIR, Ha, & OIII

416 sub exposures from 6min to 1 hour long and a total integration time of 95 hours. There are too many different exposures and filters used to list in detail which is why I have just averaged the exposure time out amongst the number of sub exposures taken.

Not only is this faint dwarf galaxy recorded well with lots of nebulosity, but the whole image area is full of hundreds of fainter galaxies. Please take a look at the full size image and see how many you can find. (see image A for this)

This was taken as all my images are from Manchester UK, with lots of light pollution, so this was a real challenge. If I had dark skies, such a long integration time would not be needed.

I have added a cropped version for those who just want to view the galaxy.
