Description

The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635), is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopea. The bubble is caused by the stellar wind from the massive hot central star, which also excites the gases a nearby molecular cloud, causing it to glow.

The nebula is about 10 light-years in diameter and a distance of about 9000 light-years from Earth.
