NGC1097, a galaxy in Fornax. Taken from Australia on a 12" reflector at a remote site.

This is a lemons to lemonade situation. I had 2 subs I tossed because of bad tracking, guiding, or an equipment bump. The rest were mottled with dust motes. Just awful. The fact that the service, which will go unnamed, charges for this type of data is really disappointing. Clearly, they are not maintaining their equipment to provide the very best images that they claim their equipment delivers. I asked that Tom attempt some kind of resolution from them, not sure if one was provided to date.

I'm not sure what camera was used, but the chip was probably a KAF-1603 variant, based on the 1530x1020 resolution. Very noisy.
