Description

This is a (2)Panel mosaic that includes LDN914 and the Sadr Dark nebula.

LDN 914 is a cold star forming region that is reported to be about 50 light-years long with about 800 times the mass of the Sun. It has been imaged by the Hershel Telescope in the IR and shows active star formation. This color image has been processed to highlight the dark-cold nature of the nebula, and the deep dark nebula adjacent to Sadr in Cygnus.

North is up in this mosaic as are the North American Nebula and Pelican Nebula...
