Description

I've been wanting to take this shot for 20 years after seeing this pic in magazines and online. I finally got all the right things to line up correctly. I present the Horse Head and Flame Nebulas in the constellation Orion. For the geeks, this was an hour and fourty minutes, ISO 640, 5 minute subs stacked with darks and subs. Taken with a Sony A7iii, 72mm AstroTec F/6 refractor on an EQ6R-Pro mount.

Here is my Cloudy Nights write up on the A7iii setup using NINA if you want. https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/745522-my-successful-nina-to-sony-a7-setup/#entry10733234
