Description

C II λ4267, C III λ5696, C III/C IV λ4650, C IV λλ5801–12, and

O V λλ5572–98.

--> Type WC

C III > CIV

C II 4267, absent or weak, O V weak

--> Type WC 8

____________________________________________________________________________________________

This is star WR 135 spectra, a hot massive star.

Classification , according to the Smith system

C II λ4267, C III λ5696, C III/C IV λ4650, C IV λλ5801–12, and

O V λλ5572–98.

--> Type WC

C III > CIV

C II 4267, absent or weak, O V weak

--> Type WC 8

Then star (surface) temperature is between 60 to 70 000 K

The stellar wind speed from C III and C IV FWHM line measurements give speeds from 1300 to 1900 km/s.

Using the PoWr stellar model (Postdam Wolf Rayet model), gives :

Mass = 11 sun

Radius = 3,66 sun
