Description

NGC 2903 is a barred spiral galaxy placed into the constellation of Leo to a distance of 20,5 million light-years. Very similar to our Via Lactea in reference its structure and size, but by difference, this contains young massive star clusters instead of ancient globular clusters.

Frames were taked and calibrated by Alfred Rosenberg and Daniel López with the IAC-80 Telescope from Teide Observatory in Canary Islands (Spain), during a online session on which I participated, and afterwards I processed this image.
