Description

For the first time in ages, the clouds parted and I was able to get a few hours of good weather. Long enough to shoot this image. And now the weather is turning bad again and it doesn't look good for a while. So I figured I would go ahead and publish this until I can get more frames.

You can see some of the horizontal banding in the blackness of space. With more frames, I can smooth this out. I plan on adding more, and some OIII next chance I get. But I am pretty thrilled about the quality of this one. So much nicer than the one I shot with my QHY camera. Huge difference. QHY pixels are 7.8 microns. This camera is 2.4 microns, so much better resolution!
