Description

On the night of 26 to August 27 at same time of its first approaching to Earth, the 2009-P1 Comet Garradd could be seen transiting quickly at less than 0.2º northeast of globular cluster M 71 into the Arrow constellation. The comet shows a fuzzy tail, and shinning with a magnitude around 7.5 will be seen through binoculars until 2012 March.
