Description

One year after my first astrophoto I returned to Orion with better equipement and a bit more experience. The lens was stopped down to f/2.8 and the subs has been shooted at ISO800.

B

Description: Added another batch of 126x1s subs in a HDR composition. Now the M42 core is not saturated. Less cropped, so field is also sightly larger.

C

Description: I've shooted 128 flats, so I've recalibrated and integrated again (this time 33x60s + 147x1s) and processed the result forcing a bit more the faint structures. The image is noisier than B, but shows more detail. This time I've croped only slightly at the borders.
