Description

The IC 405 is among the first objects I captured with my new 130/650 Newton.

I took 9 frames 300s each in 2x2 binning for Ha.

Then I made 6 frames 300s each in 2x2 binning in OIII and I was surprised that there is nothing else to see except stars - hmm, strange.

Preprocessing in Fitswork and final processing with Adobe Lightroom.

Version A: H-alpha only, 9x300s

Version B: H-HOO color mix with R=Ha, G=OIII, B=OIII, and luminance = Ha
