Description

Another edition of SH2-308 where I've endevoured to show the areas that have higher levels of hydrogen (the pink bits). Its seems that the outer most skin of the bubble is purely oxygen, with the irregular patches of hydrogen just below.

Scope: Takahashi 130 TOA NBF refractor, focal length 1000 mm

Camera: mono ML16200 with a Loadstar X2 on an Astrodon MOAG off-axis guider.

Acquisition:

19 x 1200 sec on an Astrodon OIII 3nm filter

11 x 1200 sec with an Astrodon Ha 3nm filter

10 x 60 sec RGB (for the stars)

Sensor temp: -30
