Description

The Summer Triangle is an asterism. It consists of three bright stars: Deneb in the constellation Cygnus, Vega in Lyra and Altair in Aquila.

It transits the meridian in mid-summer, but this triangle in the sky is visible for about 6 months, from late night in spring to early evening in autumn.
