Description

Darkness is fading here in Germany and by calculation this was the last night of astronomical darkness for 2h.

I didn't care and decided to get out my 8" f/5 CF Newton despite the bright moon, as it hasn't had much "star time" in the last month.

Of course I struggled a bit as I don't have a fixed image train for it and the whole balancing thing as the mount normally carries a different load. So the distance to the CC and fixing it in the focuser was kind of trial-and-error, but it worked out very well (maybe another 0.5mm spacer and a little tilt correction :-)).

Imaging a globular cluster would extend my shooting time to nautical darkness was the idea behind it, but as I also like to see some galaxies in the final image, it led me to this FOV with NGC 6329 , NGC 6332 and dozens of other faint fuzzies.

Hope you like it!
