Description

After talking with some folks, I gave this data another try. I tried to build up the star color, without looking cartoonish. I also tried to suppress a ripple artifact in the background, without totally clipping the black end of the histogram.

I finally reached the point where I wanted to bring out more galaxy detail and I quit. I probably could have eeked a little more out of it with some careful use of deconvolution, but the ultimate answer is to buy a bigger telescope and move away from the front range of Colorado.

Description: After looking at the JPG on astrobin, the background was washed up - so I reverted to a darker version.
