Dwingeloo Dish in the snow


This morning the Dwingeloo Radio Telescope (1956) was covered with a fine layer of rime, we had fog and freezing temperatures for several days. You don't often see the complete mesh surface closed this way... When finally the fog lifted and the sun began to shine it was looking beautiful!
