The hobbyastronomers nightmare ...
... someone may think ... always Bortle 7 ... that can't be, there should be some days with better conditions!!! Good grief! They aren't!
And the reason is, that the Flensburg Employment Agency has too much money!!! Yeah! All the night long approximately 30 bright red lights resurrect the night from dark to "sunny" day! And why??? ... there is the parking area for all that people that are working there ... by day!
My appeal too darken down that really senseless illumination ... f.e. after 22 or even 24 o'clock ... was rejected.
That's the pertinentest reason ... why always Bortle 7 !!

Here comes a little update with news to the situation with my nice neighbour, who constantly makes night to day!
Now he has changed the light bulbs, switched from sodium-vapor to high-tech LED. What a desastrous catastrophe. On one hand the employment agency now gets every night with the same amount of electric energy a ten times increased luminosity ... and on the other hand it's now a really colourful (n)lightshow! LED are so called continuum sources ... they emit the full spectrum!
And then, if the sky contents a little bit of humidity ... astrophotography turns to a real unavoidable adventure!

) That's an LED! If it were not so bad it would be almost nice!
)) That's a single light of NGC 7814 out of a serie of 30 I took yesterday ... and some are really crazy illuminated ... that's the normal astrophotography-battle here in town.
