I've finally learned a technique to assemble my partial eclipse shots and totality into on image. Nothing special, I just needed to learn the basics!

These were taken with my Canon 70d and 400mm 2.8 USM II. Due to the -10F temprature, the lens would not focus on infinity. I've not experienced that before. I stopped down to f11 to use depth of field and got close to focus. ISO 800 was used. Partial phases were taken through an Astrozap filter with Baader film.

The location is outside of Longyearbyen, Svalbard at about 78 degrees latitude. March 2015.
