Description

Unguided deep sky photographs can be surprisingly good as long as one has good polar alignment. The polar scope on an iOptron SkyTracker is very accurate, and also very easy to use. I was able to take 60s exposures using a Canon 200mm f/2.8 lens and a Canon 60Da camera with relatively little tracking error. I didn't expect such good results.
