Description

I may put the RGB back up but you just cannot see the detail in the color version. Reminds me of why Ansel Adam used the zone system in Black and White. For those of you not familiar with Ansel Adam, he was a famous American landscape photographer who worked a lot in Yosemite National park. His zone system divided the subject into 11 zones from black to white in even gradations of grey. A "good" rendition had equal amount of all 11 zones. Ansel of course used 5" glass plates and was really before color yet his theory still is very important in landscape photography. In Yosemite Galen Rowell was the first great color photographer who was famous for popularizing push processing of Fuji Velvia film.

Ansel did all this before Photoshop.... in the dark room.
