Description

Tried out my new QHY163M for the first time last night. This is a big step up from my Atik Infinity. I used my AT80EDT 80mm APO and took the Rosette in Ha. This was 26 x 60" With my Infinity, I never had to go over 60 seconds for anything, and usually less, so never used guiding. That is why I kept this to 60 seconds. Even with that, you can tell the stars are slightly elongated. But overall it is not a bad image, but way below where it could be. I captured with SGPro. Stacked with DSS. And processed with Astra-Image. I have a lot to learn going from the super easy Infinity software. I have PHD2 loaded on my laptop and will get that going next time out

I realize this image is poor to what it could be, but not bad for my first time out and this kind of workflow
