Description

This is my most recent image taken between constant storms this year ... as you may have read, the California drought in northern CA is history ... but we rarely had any clear nights.
The image is standard LRGB and I only had 30 minutes of H-alpha binned 1 X 1 to add to it ... one exposure. But it was enough with careful treatment in PS to add the H-alpha seen in the final image. Makes me wonder if all those H-alpha exposures are really necessary ...
Taken from my home observatory in Foresthill, CA ... which is about half way from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe in the foothills of the Sierra.
