Description

The 41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresák comet is moving really fast, making short exposures preferable.

The field of view includes a lot of distant galaxies. The Big Dipper region is an galaxy El Dorado.

Lot of work was put into producing the image out of the initial data (Rev A). Mostly due the speed of the comet and some artifacts and gradients which I was not able to remove with DBE easily.

Let's hope, the green speedster will produce some spectacular outbursts this year.
