Description

Inspired by some great images I decided to try and take some of the data from my Orion to Horse Head mosaic and do a nice tight crop of the Horse Head and Flame Nebulas. I had to do a lot to get the color to stay when doing LRGB combine. I also did some pixel math combining a synth Lum from the RGB and combining the Ha as a Lum. I did the same with the RGB channels and Ha to increase the reds as well as another pass at the script in PI.

All in all for the small amount of time and taken from a white zone, it came out ok.

I also fell back into using LHE, I just love the added dimension that tool brings to the images. It really helps bring out the dust, it makes it look more cloudy/fluffy.

Description: Added LHE to bring out more of the faint dust. I love this tool, it adds a bit of noise and seems to up the brightness and decreases color a tad, but it really adds depth and brings out the "clouds" of dust.
