Description

The rich field around NGC 5775, a spiral seen edge on. There are countless galaxies in the background. It was even difficult to distinguish them from stars for Decon in PI ;-).

There is also NGC 5774, a beautiful spiral seen from above, though with low surface brightness. This one could need more exposure time in order to bring out the faint detail in the arms. There is also the remarkable barred spiral IC 1067 just beside IC 1066. And a cute little ring galaxy PGC 53126.

Captured with a TEC140, an Atik11000 on an Avalon Linear at Olly Penrice's Les Granges.
