Description

180"x17 ASI1600MC-C on VC200L. Seginus is a Mag 3 star that is the left shoulder of Bootes (the herdsman/plowman), somewhat "near" Arcturus. I liked how the focus turned on this, revealing a number of "star pairs", including the star apparently "next to" Seginus itself (it is probably just a background or foregroundstar, not an actual pair). The nearest "common object" to this star is NGC5698, which ended up slightly off frame from here (it would be towards the top right corner).
