Description

I captured M27 already in summer 2016. I made six luminance plus 3 frames per color R, G, B, each 300s. There are so many stars appearing, that I did not yet succed to flatten the background properly. However I decided to publish it. The amount of stars is no surprise as M27 is close to the galactical equator, and I decided to show the stars. One can see an obstruction of the stars around the bright part of M27, and if one looks more closely into this part one can see signs of M27's dim outer area. So I am satisfied with this result, as it is only a 75min LRGB and does not contain any narrowband frames. Processing was done in Fitswork and Adobe Lightroom.
