Description

Had an aircraft run through one of my 1800s subs and I said, maybe for a change let me try to process with the absolute minimum of files. This is pretty bright and I am trying to get close to a full set of Sh2 images done.

So I stacked with the minimum for PixInsight of 3 images and denosied with Topaz Denoise on a starless image. I then put the stars back in as normal and frankly it is hard to tell the difference from 8 HA images or for that matter 12. To me at least.... hours less work...

From galaxymap:

Ionised by an O9.5V class star and located at a distance of 1900 parsecs.[1]

This is probably a blister on a dark dust cloud in front of the bright nebula.[2]

More about the star cluster in Sh 2-135.
