Description

The NGC 7008 nebula, also known as "Fetus Nebula", is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Cygnus. NGC 7008 is located at a distance of about 2,800 light-years from Earth. It is located in the constellation Cygnus and can be observed using an average amateur telescope. The nebula has a complex and unusual shape resembling an embryo, which gave it the name "Fetus Nebula". It consists of bright nodes and filaments, and also has many dimmer details, which makes it one of the most interesting planetary nebulae to observe.
