Description

NGC 4535 is a mag 11.1 face-on barred spiral galaxy located at 54 million light years from us in Virgo. It is a member of the Virgo Cluster of galaxies. It shows two distinct spiral arms which branch out as they unwind.



Imaging data:

Date: April 18-28, 2020

Location: New Ringgold PA

Optics: Celestron EdgeHD 1100 with Celestron focal reducer on Paramount MX

Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM for RGB

Guiding: ZWO ASI 174 on Celestron OAG

Optics: Starizona Hyperion f/8 12.5 inch, FL 2540 mm on Paramount ME

Camera: Apogee U8300 for Lum

Guiding: ST-402 on Innovations Foresight On-Axis Guider and STL-11000 Self guiding

Exposure: LRGB: L:51x15 min R:13x10 min, G:10x10 min, B:15x10 min for a total of 19.1 hrs (89 subs at avg of 772 sec) RGB bin 2

Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
