Description

I imaged the IC405/410 complex about a week ago.  The seeing was terrible and there were clouds so I lost a bit of data, and of course what I lost was O3.   I plan to share the complete image at some point if I can get more O3 and do a proper processing job, but in the meantime I thought I would share this close crop of IC405, The Flaming Star Nebula.

One great thing about IMX455/Epsilon is that you can crop all sorts of images out of single large FOV.  With Mauna Loa currently erupting I thought this scene reminded me of the Lava Flows, so I decided to share.

Looks to me like a lake of fire.

C&C Welcome.

Description: Used the O3 channel to boost the reflection filament. I initially was getting a purple filament, but by subtracting the boost from the red channel after getting the idea from Alex Ranous, I was able to solve the problem.
