Description

Hi folks, here is an image I took back in September 2021 with my modded DSLR and didn't take time to published it here... Last six months have been pretty busy...well, hope you'll enjoy another boring Heart Nebula during the thrilling galaxies' season

About that piece of dust and gas, aka IC1805 :
This beautiful nebula gets its nickname from the familiar shape of an human heart and lies about 7'500 I-v away from downtown Earth in constellation Cassiopeia. Hydrogene molecules are ionized by a group of young stars - about 1.5 millions years old only - in the nebula's center : open cluster Melotte 15. Those stars are eroding away dust pillars with their energetic light and winds. At the top of the main feature is another bright nebula named the Fish Head aka IC 1795.
