Description

Abell 77 (PK97.5+3.1 ) is a rarely imaged planetary nebula in Cepheus. This is the fifth image on Astrobin. Abell77 is small, measuring 1.3 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 15. However, it shows quite well on the RGB image and is much brighter than this magnitude would indicate. Both Ha and Oiii make a good contribution, but the Ha is so strong that the resulting color is red.
