Description

Rebert Eder's excellent Spider and Fly reminded me of this narrow band data set. This is one of a handful of nebula that look similar in broad band and narrow band--except for palette. While I do think the "fly" looks more amphibious, if I stare at it long enough I feel the buzz and fight the urge to slap it. Just think how big this critter is, t'would devour the solar system! This is a large crop from a wider field image. I can only dream of how many crop images I would be able to get if I had a full frame sensor with small pixels. This one isn't even APS-C.
