Description

This was a challenging image for me.
In Germany the Eagle Nebula is only about 20° above the horizon. So the resolution is not that great as you're imaging through "the soup". Also we have only 3 hours of darkness this time of year which makes astrophotography feel like puzzling together a meal from a plate of crumbs.
But I eventually made it and finally I took a decent shot of the eagle :)
