Description

While the night sky is glorious when there is no moon out, the problem is, without moonshine you can't see anything on Earth. A favorite technique for photographers of the night is to paint with light. I use a flashlight to illuminate the foreground landscape when I want to see more than a silhouette. This technique requires many experimental exposures because there is a lot of luck involved with what you get as the final image.
