Description

NGC 7331, a spiral galaxy 40 million light years away.

Where I live, the summer solstice means the skies are finally clear and the dew is much less of a concern. With only 3 hours of darkness a night, this was hard to get. To top it off, this is new equipment that I have been trying to get online for the last year but record cloudy nights kept it delayed until now.

Result is reasonable. 20 minute subs with a 70 pound rig on a G11 mount. 1 hour subs tested fine as well. But I am limited to certain areas of the sky so far.
