Description

I just tested my new setup in the SW of France : the TS APO 130 FD6.6 with the ZWO ASI1600MMcool

I am using these item together with my SVX-AO & ONAG & Loadstar guiding system.

The Field Flattener (TS Flat 2" for APO) is hidden inside the AO (AO-OAG system not in use here located between the AO and the ONAG). The backfocus from the back of the FF to the sensor is about 108 mm, as specified.

I have performed the APO collimation during daylight, using an artificial star. The result is OK but can be improved. The optical axis is currently aligned with the middle of one edge of the sensor ... see the M13 picture analysis.

The wiring is still a bit messy, but all the equipment is connected to the computer with the unique USB3 cable from the ASI1600 and UBS hub. This include the AO, the focuser, the Loadstar, the AZEQ6 mount EQMOD and the imager.

It has worked flawlessly for 2 nights now with SGP. The only thing is that I have to be very careful with the connecting order and the COM number selected. I am following the exactly the same sequence each time.
