Description

We can easily detect the Scorpion constellation. Its tail is noticeable with its dart.

I wanted to photograph this area, in wide field, without really knowing what I was going to see. If I had known, I would probably frame the image differently.

Some objects are interesting.

Shaula and Lesath are the two stars of the end of the tail of the Scorpion.

Shaula is an Arabic name meaning The Scorpion’s Stinger.

At the bottom, to the right of the image, we distinguish very well NGC 6334, the Cat's Paw Nebula.

At the top, NGC 6441, a globular cluster known as "Silver Nuggest Cluster ".
